Honoring Deputy Tobin Bolter
Please join the Idaho Sheriffs’ Association in remembering and honoring Deputy Tobin Bolter (age 27) who was shot in the line of duty while conducting a traffic stop on Saturday, April 20th, and who died on April 21st. Deputy Bolter has served the Ada County’s Sherrif’s Office since January and had seven years of law enforcement experience. Governor Brad Little has ordered flags to be flown at half mast in honor of Deputy Bolter.
In addition, another ACSO deputy, Deputy D. Denney, was involved in a two-vehicle crash while on the way to assist Deputy Bolter. Officials said that deputy was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
The Ada County Sheriff’s Office Employees Association (ACSEA) has set up several ways for monetary donations to be made; please specify which deputy (Deputy Bolter or Deputy D. Denney) you would like to donate for.
